Large antique Russian photograph dating back to the late 19th - early 20th centuries. Hand-colored. This true piece of history first came to France with the immigration wave after the 1917 Russian revolution. The man's clothes, his hair and mustache are typical styles of the late Russian Empire. The photograph is framed in a beautiful oval frame of dark wood. No glass. Please note a rip on the left side of the photograph (see last picture) and a few small water stains.
