Beautiful vintage P.N.C.W. dresser box, which can be used as a trinket box, a candy dish, or a condiment bowl. Lidded and made of brass-plated spelter. It has a heavy cut glass insert, divided into three sections. The base stands on three legs. Embossed Made in USA and PNCW (Progress Novelty Casting Works) on the underside. The lid has a celluloid cameo picture of a Victorian woman in the middle. The box is from the 1930s, excellent vintage condition.
