David Kalderon has been highly influential in the development of Israeli pottery. In addition to creating his own ceramic artworks and developing new methods of pottery-based sculpture, he inspired and mentored the country's first generation of ceramic artists. While Kalderon's influence can be seen in the works of many of his contemporaries, his own pieces are rarely available on the market and are highly collectible.
