This glazed ceramic bowl was made in Kyoto kilns - the legendary center of Japanese pottery and ceramics. Earthy beige color. Signed on the bottom. The bowl is in excellent vintage condition, no cracks, chips or any visible signs of wear. It serves as a beautiful example of Japanese minimalism. It was brought from Japan in the mid 20th century and came from an estate of a Japanese pottery collector in the Washington DC area.
