Rare table lamp from the 1950s Lawrence Welk TV night lamps collection by Beachcomber Potteries. Shaped as a ship. Translucent glazed ceramic with gold plating. There is an inscription 'New Orleans Packet - Show Boat' in the front of the lamp. In addition to the main bulb, there is a small inner bulb that lights the boat from the inside. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. No harp or shade. A great find for mid-century home designs and nautical decor.
