Meriden Cutlery Company carving knife with a steel blade and stag horn handle. Late 19th century. The knife has a long curved blade, attached to a handle fashioned out of an antler. Marked 'Double Shear Steel Meriden Cutlery Company' on the blade. The band connecting the blade to the handle, as well as the circular piece of the handle, are made of sterling silver and are marked as such.
