This glazed ceramic vase was made in Kyoto kilns - the legendary center of Japanese pottery and ceramics. It has deep earthy colors of light brown and gray. The vase is in excellent vintage condition, no cracks, chips or any visible signs of wear. It serves as a beautiful example of Japanese minimalism. It was brought from Japan in the mid 20th century and came to us from an estate of a Japanese pottery collector in the Washington DC area.
