George Scatchard is a famed American potter, particularly known for his stoneware lamps. He set up his first pottery shop in 1960 in Vermont and has been experimenting with different pottery styles ever since. These two goblets represent Scatchard's earlier work, as he has gradually shifted to making lamps and bowls.
