Over its millennia-long history, Chinese porcelain evolved into an art form. Porcelain items produced during Qing Dynasty (1644-1911 AD) are especially well regarded and have been extensively exported to Europe and other parts of the world. They show a great variety of form and color and are sought after by collectors. Each piece of Chinese jewelry inlaid with antique porcelain shards is one of a kind. Shards that feature human figures are especially rare and valued.
